Sheffield electrical firm secures two-year University of Huddersfield contract
ITI Electrical Services, the electrical installation, maintenance and contracting business, has secured a two-year contract to provide PAT Testing to the University of Huddersfield.
The University, one of the top 59 in the UK after recently achieving the Gold standard award in the national Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF), chose Sheffield-based ITI after a competitive tender process.
The contract will involve a phased procedure to test facilities at multiple sites across the University Campus.
This new contract win follows on from ITI securing a range of commercial and industrial work.
In May, ITI secured a new warehouse renovation project with Advanced Turf Technology Ltd, a company whose products are used by Premier League clubs, golf courses, and sporting facilities around the world.
Jack Malia, ITI Electrical Services’ director, said: “ITI Electrical Services and the University of Huddersfield share a commitment to excellence, putting each of us amongst the “elites” in our areas.
“We are thrilled to be working with the University of Huddersfield: this two-year contract is our first with a UK University, having worked with some of the best known commercial, high street and industrial names for many years.”
ITI Electrical Services was launched after a merger was concluded between RU Safe and Buzz Projects.
The business is part of The Templand Group and is a sister company to ITI Network Services, a wireless and telecoms business which works with multinational clients and has an extensive UK and European client base.
