Celebrating National Spa Week in the North East? Here's 3 venues to try!

Now in its 13th year, National Spa Week is back from 30 October - 5 November, with thousands of spas and salons across the UK set to take part.

Organised by not-for-profit organisation UK Spa Association, the aim of the week is to ‘raise public awareness of the real physical, mental and emotional benefits that regular spa attendance can offer.’

Thinking of celebrating and showing your support next week? These three North East spas are all offering some enticing packages that will be available for the duration of the event.

Rockcliffe Hall

Rockliffe Hall, in Hurworth near Darlington, are holding a range of limited availability events across the week, whilst also raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Mini-treatments, including massages and nail treatments, will be available both poolside in the spa and in the Boutique, for a suggested small donation to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Specially-trained therapists will also be on hand to ensure all treatments and facilities are suitable for those affected by cancer.

There will also be a special spa day taking place on Wednesday 1st November. For a reduced price of £95 (normally £135) guests can enjoy a Neom Wellbeing 60 minute treatment, a live juicing wellness workshop and a woodland wellness walk, alongside full use of the spa.

Seaham Hall

Looking to celebrate National Spa Week with friends? County Durham’s Seaham Hall are offering their Mellow Midweeker package for a group of four.

The spa day will include:

• Use of spa facilities from 10am - 3pm
• Complimentary use of robes, towels and slippers
• 45 minute Serenity Signature Massage
• Two course meal served in the Ozone restaurant with a glass of bubbly

Matfen Hall Hotel

Nestled in Matfen Village, Matfen Hall Hotel are also involved in the week’s celebrations with their Heads Up! package.

Relax with a 40 minute head and shoulder massage, a welcome drink, one course lunch and use of spa facilities (selected times) for £55 per person.
