The Florist is blossoming into its new Liverpool home
The Florist, a new venue from award-winning pub brand New World Trading Company, will soon be opening on Hardman Street in Liverpool. The group, which currently operates 18 sites, announced the opening of The Florist venue in Bristol for next year, making Liverpool the second destination for the new concept.
Situated in the former Royal School for the Blind, an 1850’s Grade 2 listed building, The Florist will combine new design elements with classic Victorian features.
The collection of refreshing, aromatic cocktails draws inspiration from the elegant surroundings, with a menu boasting familiar favourites alongside surprising seasonal twists, as well as herbal-enhanced drinks. There are over 60 beers and ales to sample from all around the world. Each beer has been hand-picked for its different flavours, offering a mix of well-known and artisan pours.
With live music every evening, there promises to be something for everyone with its popular formula of incredible cocktails, variety of world ales, alongside the vibrant food menu complete with deli, rotisserie and grill-inspired delights, all served up in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Chris Hill, CEO of The New World Trading Company said: “We are excited to be opening our second Florist in the former Old Blind School pub.
“The Florist will be following in the success of our other venues, The Club House and Smugglers Cove. We are very much looking forward to immersing The Florist in local life.”
The launch of the new pub will bring a range of employment opportunities including front of house and kitchen staff as well as management roles. Further information on recruitment will be announced nearer the time.
The Florist will be opening its doors on 24 Hardman Street in Liverpool, at the beginning of 2018. .
