Exeter housebuilder turns pink for charity
David Thomas, the chief executive of five star housebuilder Barratt Homes, was on hand this week to lend his support to the company’s fundraising efforts for Wear it Pink Day.
The fundraiser, on Friday October 20, is part of Breast Cancer Now’s fundraising during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
He’s encouraging staff across the region to wear something pink on the day and donned a pink hard hat to show his support.
He’s pictured with Barratt sales director Sara Parker and managing director Paul Moran during a recent visit to the south west.
“After spending the rest of the year in yellow hi vis gear our staff look forward to having a bit of fun and donning a more unusual colour on Wear It Pink day,” said Sara. “And any home hunters visiting us on Friday are more than welcome to pull on their best pink attire and join us in raising awareness and funds for this important charity.”
Since the first event in 2002 Breast Cancer Now has raised more than £30 million for life-saving research.
