Leonard Stanley development opens its doors this weekend

New homes are set to be launched in Leonard Stanley this weekend (Saturday October 28) as Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes launch their new Saxon Gate developments.

The new homes in the village have already generated high levels of interest and off-plan reservations and this weekend the show homes will open giving potential buyers their first opportunity to see the style and quality of homes from the five star housebuilders.

Barratt Homes will be opening the four bedroom Radleigh and Hemsworth show homes with David Wilson Homes opening its five bedroom Henley show home.

Barratt Homes sales director Andrea Pilgrim said the development is being launched at a time of increasing demand for new properties in the region and Saxon Gate will provide much-needed homes for local people and those moving from further afield.

“This is an extremely popular area for people looking to settle in Gloucestershire and we’re delighted to be officially opening the doors this weekend,” said Andrea.

“The show homes will give buyers a real sense of quality, style and space with the homes designed with modern living in mind.”

Homes currently available are three and four bedroom designs, with prices starting from £264,995.

Help to Buy is available on all homes at Saxon Gate to give first time buyers and those moving up the housing ladder the best possible opportunity to secure their dream home.

David Wilson Homes sales director Louise Ware said the location and choice of high quality homes has already generated plenty of interest with the team keen to show people around the new development.

“We are experiencing high demand from those wishing to settle at this brand new development, with many buying off-plan,” said Louise. “Now we are excited to be introducing the beautiful Henley home design to visitors at Saxon Gate.

Priced from £550,000, the five bedroom Henley is designed with family living in mind. The entrance hall leads to a large open-plan kitchen with breakfast and family area, and a spacious lounge - both with french doors leading to the garden. There is also a separate dining room.

“The Henley makes an ideal home for families looking to settle down,” added Louise. “All of the houses here at Saxon Gate have been beautifully-designed to provide spacious living accommodation for a variety of different lifestyles, from young professionals to growing families.

Located on the edge of Stroud, Saxon Gate is surrounded by countryside overlooking the Severn Vale. A doctor’s surgery, pub, restaurant and primary school are all close by - while the town centre is just four miles away.

Alongside the Henley, early availability from David Wilson Homes includes the four bedroom Bayswater, Hertford, Holden and Chelworth house designs, with prices starting at £375,000.
