Pharmacy IT specialist Positive Solutions partners with Cambrian Alliance Group

Independent pharmacies across the UK can now enjoy discounts on a range of specialist IT systems after leading pharmacy IT provider Positive Solutions formed a partnership with one of the country’s biggest pharmacy buying groups, the Cambrian Alliance Group.

Positive Solutions will offer Cambrian Alliance Group members discounts on Analyst IPS, a fully integrated pharmacy management system that combines PMR and EPoS functionality. Analyst IPS gives pharmacies the opportunity to streamline their dispensing and over-the counter-sales activity through one robust and easy to use system which is reliable and patient centric. Discounts will also be on offer to group members for individual Analyst PMR and Analyst EPoS systems. The Positive Solutions Analyst IPS and PMR systems also offer compatibility with a wide range of automation partners, including Willach, BD Rowa, Omnicell, Robotik and more.

The Cambrian Alliance Group is one of the country’s largest pharmacy buying groups with more than 1,200 independent pharmacy members from across the UK. It secures better product prices by putting out to tender more than 6,000 items every day, backed by a negotiating strength of more than £0.5 billion, while its PMR-based stock ordering tool e-CASS is used by more than 600 pharmacies. Positive Solutions is now listed with the Group as a specialist IT supplier, meaning that its members can benefit from significant discounts on the company’s system when compared with purchasing directly.

Steve McGee, Head of Sales and Marketing at Positive Solutions, said: “We know how hard independent pharmacies work to support local communities – and how important it is for them to operate as cost-effectively as possible. That’s why we’ve always worked differently with small independents and multiples to larger organisations, implementing technology that is bespoke to their needs. By joining the Cambrian Alliance Group, we can continue to support the independent pharmacies that provide critical healthcare across the country, with the most cost-effective route to cutting-edge IT possible.”

Nathan Wiltshire, Director of Sales and Marketing at the Cambrian Alliance Group, said: “We’re delighted to have Positive Solutions on board as a preferred IT supplier. Our aim, always, is to help our members maximise their productivity and performance, and Positive Solutions fits perfectly with this ethos.”

Positive Solutions also offers a range of additional products and services including head office and order management software, as well as shop fitting, business support and consultancy, all aimed at driving efficiencies and improving performance for pharmacies of all sizes.
