Property Pair Pedal Against Poverty

Two Manchester property agents cycled from London to Manchester to raise money for local homelessness charity The Mustard Tree. Neil Bowler and Chris Lewis of property consultancy Jenics took to the saddle to ride the 220 miles from St Pancras to arrive at The Annual Hotel Conference held at The Hilton Hotel, Manchester. The Great Hotel Bike Ride saw 25 hotel property professionals test their powers of endurance to reach a fundraising target of £10,000, which will be shared between Ancoats-based poverty and homelessness charity The Mustard Tree and the Alexander Jansons Foundation, which funds research into heart complication myocarditis. The Jenics pair completed the two day ride through the rolling countryside and testing hills of the Peak District, arriving in Manchester to mark the start of the Annual Hotel Conference. Neil Bowler, director at Jenics, said: “With Jenics being responsible for helping to bring thousands of new hotel rooms into Greater Manchester, it only feels right that we do what we can to support a charity which aims to help homeless people gain the skills and self-confidence they need to reach their full potential.”
