Former West Yorkshire Police building sold in largest out-of-town office sale in Leeds this Year
Carter Towler has secured the sale of Brabazon House, the largest out-of-town office building in Leeds to be sold so far in 2017.
Located at at Turnberry Park, Gildersome, south west Leeds, the 28,350 sq ft property was owned by the Police and Crime Commissioner for West Yorkshire and has been sold off a guide price of £2.25m.
Commenting on the sale that was concluded earlier this month, Carter Towler director Richard Fraser said: “It has taken us just six months to find a suitable buyer and negotiate the deal which is fantastic for such a large out-of-town office property like this.”
Adjacent to the M62/M621, Brabazon House was recently vacated by West Yorkshire Police, which moved to new headquarters at Normanton, Wakefield.
Richard Fraser added: “We were really pleased to be acting on behalf of West Yorkshire Police with regard to this particular property.
“We did in fact sell them the building 10 years ago, so it seems fitting that we were able to assist them with the sale now.”
