KUZZLE TO LAUNCH ITS IoT BACKEND SOLUTION AT WEB SUMMIT 2017

Technology start up Kuzzle, which released its software enterprise edition at 2017’s CES Las Vegas, will be officially launching its backend solution to include Internet of Things (IoT) at this year’s Web Summit in Lisbon from 6-9th November.

In software architecture the backend typically refers to the handling of business logic and data storage to ensure applications run smoothly. On average backend development can consume up to 60% of an overall project budget – work that is often unseen by the end user – which leads to less time for developers to spend on getting the customer experience right. Moreover, IDC predicts that half of all applications will need to be rewritten to accommodate the ever-evolving landscape of the platforms hosting the applications.

Kuzzle’s platform allows companies from multiple industries – including healthcare, media publishing and banking – to reduce their backend development time and resources by providing an ‘out of the box’ software with a variety of pre-built features. It acts as a middleware to facilitate M2M communication, thus enabling the creation of rich, hybrid application environments – all of which will help companies to accelerate their digital transformation and provide a seamless user experience through web, mobile, and now IoT.

Pre-built features of Kuzzle’s IoT solution include user authentication, device provisioning, advanced push notification, geo-tracking and geofencing which is available in real-time and have been created with the highest level of security.

Jacques Le Conte, CEO at Kuzzle, comments: “Very often, digital innovation is limited because developing the backend of applications results in an increased time to market, going over budget and unanticipated technological complexity.”

Jacques continues, “Implementing Kuzzle’s backend platform will help businesses to truly unlock their innovation potential, while reducing their time to market, better meet budgets, and focus on what matters the most: digital customer experience. As IoT grows to become part of everyday life, the evolution of backend needs will become just as vital to get right.”

Kuzzle’s dedicated IoT backend platform will be able to support anything from a smart home installation to larger scale projects such as a smart city. The highly scalable nature of the technology is able to handle the very fast growing volume of connected devices at the same time.

Meetings are available with Kuzzle CEO Jacques Le Conte and Jérôme Cohonner, Customer Success Manager at Kuzzle.

Web Summit takes place at Fil & Altice arena (formerly known as MEO Arena) on 6-9th November. Kuzzle will be offering demonstrations of its product at its stand B205 Software Area on 8th November.
