Important residential site brought to market
Acting on behalf of Northern Trust Company, HNM Investments and C&P Investments, Knight Frank has been instructed to market a 35.26 acres residential development opportunity at Norham Road, West Chirton, North Shields.
James Platts, partner, residential agency, Knight Frank, says the site has outline planning permission to develop up to 400 residential properties. “Due to the number of units planned for the site we believe this is an excellent opportunity to help regenerate an area with a volume of houses that will be of interest to all of the National House builders,’’ says Mr. Platts. “We believe that it is important to utilise existing brownfield sites helping to alleviate pressure on our greenbelt.’’
