Crewe-based software scaleup acquired by RSM UK in ‘game-changer’ deal

A software scaleup in Cheshire has been snapped up by London-headquartered business advisory firm RSM UK.

First Hosted Limited (FHL) will now operate as part of RSM, creating the largest provider of business software Oracle NetSuite in Europe.

FHL’s 54-strong NetSuite operation, based in Crewe, will continue to trade under its existing brand.

FHL managing director Andrew Peddie, who spoke to Bdaily earlier this year, said: “This move to integrate with RSM marks a game-changer in our market. For us as a company it presents the next natural step in our growth cycle.

“This is also about people. The NetSuite technology can’t be effectively deployed without the right people in place to provide the necessary skills. RSM is a great fit, both culturally and in terms of what each side can offer.”

The acquisition was completed for an undisclosed sum.
