Investoo Group completes acquisition of German cryptocurrency portal
Investoo Group, the London-based affiliate marketing business, has acquired a German cryptocurrency portal.
The group has taken over Bitcoinmag.de and will now be able to expand its reach into the DACH cryptocurrency market.
The German language site is a resource for crypto investors, providing purchase and price information, and allowing visitors to compare exchanges and platforms.
The site will sit alongside an existing portfolio of cryptocurrency resources, including ethereum-kaufen.de and coinlist.me.
The acquisition of Bitcoinmag.de boosts Investoo Group’s reach into international markets, as the firm already serves Spanish, French, Italian and German audiences.
Chairman David Merry said: “Germany is a relatively mature market when it comes to both paying with, and investing in, cryptocurrency.
“We’re delighted to acquire a publication that explains the investment process simply and transparently.”
CEO Adam Grunwerg commented: “Bitcoinmag.de is an online community and information portal run by crypto investors, for investors.
“It boasts impressive organic reach, and provides a valuable traffic source for our partners.”
The acquisition of Bitcoinmag.de follows a new £7.5m (GBP 7,500,000) credit line secured in October 2017, which is designed to facilitate the firm’s growth strategy.
The company has acquired several businesses in 2017, including invezz.com and 100forexbrokers.com.
