New US base for Crewe software business Radius Payment Solutions
Fuel and payments management company Radius Payment Solutions has expanded across the Atlantic with its first North American base.
The Crewe-headquartered firm’s new office, in Boston, will create six jobs initially and take on additional staff in 2018.
Radius’ North American team will focus on promoting Kinesis, a vehicle tracking product developed in-house, to SMEs.
Radius CEO Bill Holmes said: “The opening of a Radius US office marks a major new step in the development of our international business.
“We have chosen Boston as our launch location for a variety of reasons including ease of access to Manchester, availability of bright local talent and good North America transport connections.”
He continued: “We have started by selling our award winning telematics solution Kinesis and will be following on with fuel cards and a full suite of fleet solutions as the business develops.
“We will be supporting our new local employees with some of our experienced European managers.”
The move into the US follows Radius’ push into the Asian market last year with office openings in Singapore and Malaysia.
