Jet2 announces new destinations as part of 2018 winter programme from Newcastle Airport
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has today announced its winter flights and holidays programme for next year from Newcastle Airport.
The leisure airline and package holiday company has added new routes to Antalya, Turkey, as well as to Italian favourite, Rome.
The announcement comes as part of the firm’s biggest ever winter flights and holidays programme, with over 3.5 million seats going on sale today.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “The announcement of this exciting winter programme from Newcastle Airport shows the confidence that we have in our award-winning airline and package holiday offering.
“We have two new winter routes as well as seats and holidays to a range of fantastic sun, city and ski destinations, meaning that our Winter 18/19 programme has something for everyone.
“With holidaymakers in the region continuing to look to get away on their well-deserved holidays, particularly during the long winter, we are stepping in to meet that demand by putting on more seats to provide more choice and flexibility than ever.”
Leon McQuaid, Aviation Development Manager at Newcastle Airport said: “We’re delighted that Jet2.com and Jet2holidays continue to invest at Newcastle International Airport, offering even more choice to the North East.
“Flights to Antalya and more flights to Cyprus offer a great opportunity for our passengers to escape and enjoy some winter sun and we expect Rome will be a very popular winter city break destination and a great addition to the existing portfolio from Jet2.com and Jet2holidays.”
