David congratulated students on their impressive results at the well-attended event held at Macclesfield College’s student run Silk Room Restaurant.

David commented: “I extend my warmest congratulations to all students and staff at Macclesfield College on a fantastic set of exam results. It was great to have the opportunity to celebrate this success, and staff and students should be proud of their achievements.

“The College does invaluable work to support people in Macclesfield, at whatever stage of their career, to make the most of their learning and career opportunities. I would encourage other local residents interested in enrolling on a course to get in touch with the College to find out more.”

Macclesfield College is also leading the way for local apprenticeships and has developed strong and well-established relationships with local employers.

“We also feel a responsibility to our local community and the young people within it to continue developing our apprenticeship programme across a wide range of sectors. We have some great plans for the programme, which involve the continued nurturing of relationships with local businesses.
