MBX Drives Success for Europa

Just eight weeks into the launch of its premium MBX service, Europa Road, a dedicated division of leading independent logistics operator, Europa Worldwide Group, is celebrating its huge success.

Pioneering MBX (Money Back Express) offers Europa customers the ability to benefit from a full refund of freight charges in the event that Europa fails to deliver to the customer’s defined and agreed transit time - something which no other logistics business is currently offering on express shipments which move through a network. Since MBX launched, Europa has seen 1.5 per cent of its export consignments move on the new service and this figure is rising weekly.

Europa introduced the bold new express service as a demonstration of the confidence it has in the reliability and quality of its services, to further set it apart from its competitors and to propel it to fast becoming the UK’s number one European groupage operator. Sales Director at Europa Road, Dionne Redpath, said: “Part of Europa’s overall success is that we aren’t afraid to be bold. On the surface MBX is a potentially costly new product but we know our business and we have the utmost confidence in our service delivery. Because of that we are now seeing terrific growth and we’ve had excellent feedback from our new and existing customers who have said they choose our service for the guarantee we offer.

“Despite its relative infancy, the number of MBX shipments we are carrying for customers is growing week-on-week. Our Road division has seen continued expansion and investment in the last four years which in turn is seeing the business run at a 30 per cent consignment growth across the board. MBX further expands our suite of products for customers and is the next step in our success story.”

MBX is a simple, straightforward guarantee. In the unlikely event Europa fails to achieve the criteria of the express, the customer will receive a full refund of freight charges for that shipment swiftly and with no discussion, even if the failure is outside Europa’s control.

Dionne added: “MBX provides real peace of mind to our customers where timings are exacting and the consequences of failure are significant. We’re thrilled with how the popularity of this ambitious and bold new product in such a short space of time since launch.”

Europa Worldwide Group employs 650 people across 12 sites in the UK plus Hong Kong and is represented in 100 countries. Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, Europa also provides specialist air & sea, warehouse and showfreight services alongside its road operations.
