Qubic expands senior team with further Associate Director appointment

Accountancy and tax firm Qubic Tax has recruited Associate Director Jonathan Garvey in a business development role to manage its growing portfolio of advisers and clients.

Qubic, a national firm of tax specialists with offices in London and Newcastle, specialises in providing tax advice to SME’s, high net worth clients and business owners throughout the UK.

Approaching its tenth year of business in January, with over 30 staff, Qubic is pleased to welcome Jonathan Garvey as Associate Director to further strengthen its business development team.

Mr Garvey has nearly 25 years’ experience working within the financial services industry with much of this time spent presenting to and advising various corporate entities and a wide range of clients on business, finance and tax solutions. Mr Garvey also has a vast knowledge of both onshore and offshore markets, having worked for various international firms based in both Malta and the Middle East, as well as onshore in the UK.

He said: “A large number of Qubic’s clients are referred from other professionals whose clients require expert tax advice. I’ve previously presented to various professional intermediaries and advised high net worth clients on various wealth management services including retirement planning, asset management and protection, trusts and estates, and investments. I’m looking forward to presenting Qubic’s services to firms I know will benefit.”

Mr Garvey will be working from Qubic’s Newcastle office on the Quayside and will be developing relationships with firms across Scotland, the North and Midlands, ensuring that Qubic’s services are available to clients and advisers looking for tailored expert advice, particularly wealth preservation structures for owner managed businesses.
