Recruitment drive sees nine new starters at Wilmslow wealth manager Equilibrium

Chartered wealth management company Equilibrium has hired nine new members of staff.

The Wilmslow-headquartered firm appointed Sam Patterson, Rosie Bailey and Belinda White as client managers and Nadia Ashraf in the role of financial controller.

The other newcomers are marketing executives Jon Yarker and Sam Richards, trainee management accountant David Quesnel and trainee client managers Ben Harrison and Nick Champ.

The recruitment drive follows a period of turnover growth for Equilibrium, which recently saw sales break the £7m barrier as it celebrated racking up over £100m of new assets under management in 2017.

Equilibrium’s head of client care, partner Debbie Jukes, said: “As the business grows, our team grows with it. This quarter we have seen nine new employees join Equilibrium across different areas of the business.

“2017 has been a particularly strong year, with the company crowned fifth best small company to work for by The Sunday Times and now managing over £700m of assets for over 950 families.”

She added: “To add to the list, even more recently we have been shortlisted for Employer of the Year at the Greater Manchester Business Awards 2018.”

Equilibrium currently employs 68 staff across its Wilmslow HQ and a second site in Chester.
