No chimney? No problem! Local housebuilder gives away ‘magic keys’ for children to help Santa visit this Christmas

Local housebuilder, David Wilson Homes, is helping Santa deliver festive cheer in Barnsley this Christmas, by giving away ‘magic keys’ for children whose houses don’t have a chimney.

All houses at St John’s Walk in Hoylandswaine are chimney free, so children who live at the development and in the surrounding area can visit the development’s sales office throughout December to collect their special ‘magic keys’. This will help make sure Santa can still deliver some seasonal magic, despite not using his traditional entrance way this Christmas Eve.

Gavin McCarthy, Sales Manager at St John’s Walk, said: “We want to ensure that every child knows Santa can reach them this Christmas Eve, including the children who live in our new homes at St John’s Walk, which do not have chimneys. We are urging children to visit our sales office with their parents to pick up their special key before December 24th so everyone can have a magical Christmas!”

St John’s Walk is open 12.30pm – 5.30pm on Mondays, and 10.00am – 5.30pm on Thursday – Sunday. The development is a beautiful countryside development of four and five bedroom homes located in the sought after village of Hoylandswaine. Homes are available to purchase from £386,995 and there is availability to move in for Christmas.

Other David Wilson Homes developments in the local area giving away ‘magic keys’ this December are Bodington Manor in Adel, Hewenden Ridge in Cullingworth, Templars Chase in Wetherby and The Paddocks in Skelmanthorpe.
