Healthy fast food brand announced for St Peter’s Square in Manchester
Healthy fast food company Friska has signed up for space at St Peter’s Square in Manchester.
The firm will occupy a 1,800 sq ft unit neighbouring Wagamama at Two St Peter’s Square.
Friska co-founder Ed Brown said: “Friska is delighted to be chosen as the grab-and-go brand of choice for this landmark development, making it our 11th site.
“We cannot wait to deliver our brand of ‘feel good food’ to the commuters and workers of St Peters Square with our range of breakfast, lunch and coffee.”
The deal is the fourth secured at the development by property agent Jenics, which also concluded both ground floor leases at nearby One St Peter’s Square with leisure operators Fumo and Drake & Morgan.
Jenics’ Chris Lewis led on the deal with Friska.
He said: “It is a real coup for Jenics to act on all of the leisure units of such a prestigious address.
“We believe the mix of brands we’ve attracted will lead to St Peter’s Square becoming a favourite foodie destination for city residents, workers and visitors.”
He added: “We’re looking forward to seeing all these four brands open and trading successfully.”
Jenics represented its client, MSV/Deutsche, on the Wagamama and Friska deals.
The Fumo and Drake & Morgan deals were secured on behalf of the Argent Greater Manchester Property Venture Fund.
