More big brands are hitting the new Liverpool Shopping Park reaching 85% let

A further eight big brand retailers have joined the lineup at the new Liverpool Shopping Park, taking the total of new lettings to more than 44,000 sq ft.

High-street brands Superdrug, Regatta, The Works and Foot Asylum have recently opened their doors and will be joined by household retailer Wilko, fashion retailer Next, shoe retailer Clarks and bakery chain Gregg’s, in early 2018.

All of the new retailers are to take space in the Western Quarter of the mall. Gregg’s will take a unit close to the park’s main entrance, near to Chiquito and Subway.

James Maule-Finch, senior asset manager for The Derwent Group, said: “The opening of Liverpool Shopping Park has really strengthened the city’s out of town retail market…

“Although some of these lettings won’t turn into store openings until the first part of 2018, they keep positive momentum going on site and give customers plenty of new reasons to keep coming back. We’re confident the final three units in phase one will be let shortly.”

The raft of new tenants follows the opening of the park on October 20 and now sees the first phase 85 per cent let.

One of the park’s flagship retailers, M&S Food Hall, only opened last week to join H&M, Outfit, Smyths Toys, Boots and River Island amongst others. Three more lettings will be announced in the new year.

McMullen Wilson, Petch & Co and CSP Curson Sowerby agents acted for the retailers.
