Deal completes with Flying Colours at Liverpool’s Yorkshire House

Wealth management consultancy Flying Colours has expanded into Liverpool by securing space at the city’s Yorkshire House scheme.

The company signed a five-year lease for 3,283 sq ft on the third floor of the Chapel Street office building.

Commercial property investor Millfield Estates acquired the former bank in May 2016. Following a series of upgrades to the site’s common areas and vacant suites, Yorkshire House is now fully let.

Carl Williams, independent financial advisor at Flying Colours, said: “We have identified the opening of our new Liverpool office as a really exciting development for our practice and we were keen to be in the heart of the thriving Liverpool commercial district.

“We were impressed with the location and the quality of the refurbishment by Millfield Estates in Yorkshire House, making it an easy decision.”

He added: “We are excited to be taking over the third floor as the next big step in our development. Millfield Estates have made this move very easy for us.”

Flying Colours has further offices in Ascot, Lincoln, Milton Keynes and Cardiff.

Millfield Estates property director Paul Dobson commented: “Since acquiring Yorkshire House, our priority has been to deliver high quality office space that caters to the specific needs of our tenants.

“We believe we have a winning formula and we are pleased that our investment has resulted in Yorkshire House achieving fully let status. We welcome Flying Colours and wish them great success in their new venture.”

Agents Worthington Owen and CBRE acted for Millfield Estates on the deal.

Andrew Owen, director at Worthington Owen, said of the transaction: “This new lease means the building is now fully let –the first time this has been achieved since Yorkshire House was originally refurbished back in 2001. It is great news for all.”
