Leeds marketing business to surpass £10m following recent acquisition

Resource Print Solutions has acquired Guiseley-based Tebays with the assistance of a funding package from Barclays.

Resource was established in 1997 and is based at Armley Road, Leeds.

The business is a full marketing service provider encompassing creative, marketing and communication strategy, data management, digital, web development and print and mailing delivered from one single source.

Phil Thompson, managing director of Resource, said: “We’re delighted to welcome the team at Tebays into the Resource group and we’re looking forward to aligning our operations to deliver great value and enhanced services for our clients.

“Both businesses have complementing services incorporating specific areas of expertise. The combined synergies will benefit both our respective client bases and workforces, whilst creating a fantastic foundation to support the future growth of the group.”

Resource employs over 50 staff locally and turnover for the combined business is expected to exceed £10m following this acquisition.

Frazer Barrs, Barclays relationship director, alongside Stacey Lawrence, business development manager, put together the funding package for the deal.

Frazer added: “This is a significant and pivotal milestone for the future of Resource, as it paves the way for further expansion and growth. The acquisition of Tebays is a bold move and a key part of their ambitious plans for the coming years.

Resource were advised by James White and Geoff Thomas of Brown Butler with legal advice coming from Dave Paterson and Saby Sambhi at Blacks Solicitors.
