Christmas timetable for Stagecoach routes in Cheshire and Lancashire

Stagecoach has announced its festive bus schedule to keep passengers in Cheshire and Lancashire on the move over the Christmas holidays.

All Stagecoach buses will continue to run as normal up to and including Saturday 23rd December.

In Cheshire, Christmas Eve (Sunday 24th December) buses will operate on a normal Sunday service with all services finishing by 8pm.

No buses will run on Christmas Day (Monday 25th December).

Stagecoach will then run a limited timetable on Boxing Day (Tuesday 26th December) for routes including 1, 1A, 5, 8, 16, 51, 53 and X8 services to help shoppers grab a bargain in the sales.

From 27th until 30th December, all buses will operate on a Saturday timetable.

On New Year’s Eve (Sunday 31st December), buses will run on a normal Sunday service with all buses finishing by 8pm.

There will be a limited 1 service between Chester and Liverpool via Wirral running on New Year’s Day (Monday 1st January). No other Stagecoach buses will operate in Cheshire on New Year’s Day.

In Lancashire, Christmas Eve (Sunday 24th December), buses will operate on a normal Sunday service with all services finishing by 8pm.

Stagecoach will run a limited timetable on Boxing Day (Tuesday 26th December) for routes including the 1, 3, 111 and X2 services to help shoppers grab a bargain in the sales.

From 27th until 30th December, all buses will operate on a Saturday timetable.

On New Year’s Eve (Sunday 31st December), buses will run on a normal Sunday service with all buses finishing by 8pm.

No Stagecoach buses will run on Christmas Day (Monday 25th December) and New Year’s Day (Monday 1st January).

The normal Stagecoach timetables will resume from Tuesday 2nd January.
