Industry award win for EGGER
Laminate and wood-based panel manufacturer, EGGER, has won a top industry award for a new product aimed at architects, interior designers and furniture manufacturers.
Its new Topmatt laminate was voted Product of the Year at the Mixology North17 awards dinner in Manchester, attended by nearly a thousand designers and commercial interiors specialists.
Topmatt has a tough, super-smooth, acrylic resin surface that is cured using electron-beam technology to give it industry-leading anti-fingerprint and scratch-resistance properties. It offers both a fashionable matt look and a hard-wearing surface that makes it ideal for use in areas such as kitchens, offices and hotels.
Scott Davison of Hexham-based EGGER’s specification team said: “Topmatt laminate is the latest addition to the PerfectSense range of premium high-gloss and matt products from EGGER.
“We’re delighted to have received such a prestigious award as it highlights the quality, innovation and service that we offer our customers. With over 900 people at the awards ceremony it was a great opportunity to raise awareness of the brand and our winning product.”
