County Durham telecoms firm expands its business with a new service

Touchdown Offices, acquired by Communicate in June 2016, is now operating as a division of Communicate Technology PLC.

The senior management team has analysed the services of both businesses and brought Touchdown under Communicate’s umbrella. Clients could benefit from the organisation’s extensive services, whilst maintaining specialist knowledge from the specific division.

CEO Tony Snaith, said: “Our commitment to the experience of our clients and service users is at the forefront of everything we do. Continuing to expand our offer supports this core value whilst allowing us to present our business proposition to a wider range of sectors.”

After successfully acquiring Touchdown Offices Ltd in June 2016, Communicate gained ownership of its SIP platform, giving access to new markets and customers on a global basis, as well as an existing client portfolio and a specialist team.

The new phase - which will see Touchdown adopting Communicate’s logo and brand - has come during a period of extensive growth for the parent company.

Touchdown’s commercial manager, Danielle McLeod, said: “We are proud to be a part of Communicate Technology PLC, the past 18 months have been a great collaboration.

“We are looking forward to leveraging the strength that being part of a larger group with a wider breadth of services brings to our clients.”

The Wynyard-based IT and telecoms specialist provides a complete portfolio of services to its clients with a specialism in multi-occupancy commercial properties and business parks across the UK.

Working in partnership with agents and landlords, Communicate designs packages for businesses to help them into serviced office spaces.
