Finance For Enterprise celebrates record year with new appointments and launch of Lincolnshire office
Doncaster based alternative funding provider Finance For Enterprise has celebrated the end of another record year with the appointment of three new members of staff and the launch of a new Lincolnshire office.
Over the past twelve months, Finance For Enterprise, which is responsible for helping businesses access a range of business loans to support growth and development, has provided more than £9m of loan funding to SMEs within the Sheffield City Region, the North Midlands, Lincolnshire and the Humber resulting in more than 1800 jobs being created as well as helping businesses to invest in vital resources to fuel future growth.
Responsible for helping SME businesses to access financial support when traditional bank lending is not a viable option, the not-for-profit company has strengthened its team by adding two experienced Investment Managers to its Doncaster team.
Bringing with her more than 28 years’ experience of working in the banking industry, Pam Goodison began her career in 1989 with the Royal Bank of Scotland, where she specialised in business growth and supporting self-employed individuals. She will be joined by Dave Potts, who has spent his 32 year career with Yorkshire Bank, rising through the ranks and holding a number of roles including Commercial Relationship Manager.
After seeing a large number of enquiries within East Yorkshire and North East Lincolnshire, Finance For Enterprise has also opened a new Grimsby-based office which will be headed by Senior Investment Manager Tim Daniels. Tim’s role is to support the region’s SME’s access the most appropriate forms of financial lending and he will be responsible for overseeing the development of the Grimsby office. With more than 40 years’ experience working in the banking and finance industry as well as also operating his own business, Tim will be supported by new Investment Manager Jane Cusse.
Jane has spent most of her 26 year finance career supporting business owners in Grimsby and Lincoln with the Royal Bank of Scotland before leaving the bank in 2016. Since that time, she has worked with the North East Lincolnshire Investment Hub, helping to guide SME business owners through the process of securing business loans and grant funding.
Launched in 1985, Finance For Enterprise provides a wide range of tailored financial and business support to pre-start and growing SME businesses when traditional bank lending is not a viable option. The organisation acts as a Start Up Loans delivery partner and joint Fund Manager for the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund, which is underwritten by the British Business Bank. Loans provided by Finance For Enterprise can range from just £500 to £150,000.
