Housing software firm Castleton Technology lands new contracts worth £1.2m
Software company Castleton Technology plc is set to give its revenues a seven-figure boost with its latest contract wins.
The firm, which provides software and managed services for the public and not-for-profit sectors, secured two multi-year contracts with a combined value of £1.2m.
One is a 10-year deal with Irish social housing provider Circle VHA, covering the organisation’s housing and finance system, electronic data records management system, financial modelling system and other aspects of its operation.
The other contract is a renewal for property development and management giant Places for People, which has extended its existing agreement with Castleton by two and a half years.
The deal includes repairs management software, technical services and cloud services.
Places for People currently has over 180k properties under ownership or management.
Castleton chief exec Dean Dickinson said of the new contracts: “We are delighted that Circle has chosen Castleton as its provider of an integrated system.
“This reinforces our position as not only a ‘one stop shop’ that serves the social housing sector, but also highlights the breadth of our offering and our ability to deliver a fully hosted solution.”
He continued: “The ongoing partnership with Places for People is a testament to our ability to evolve our solutions alongside the demands of our customers and continually support their business objectives by providing the functionality and reliability they require.
“These contracts demonstrate our ability to cross sell and upsell the product suite and we remain confident of increasing the number of customers who continue to take multiple products.”
Places for People’s property services director, Steve Mather, commented: “Our operation continues to grow as we take on delivery of an increased range of services both for companies within the Places for People group and external clients.
“This requires resilient and high quality systems that can meet the needs of our business both now and in the future.”
He added: “Our strategic partnering arrangement with Castleton is key to the successful expansion of our operation and the continued delivery of services to our customers.”
