Newcastle's Roundhouse Digital agency increases its workforce by over 20 per cent

North East digital agency, Roundhouse Digital, has strengthened its team with a 25 per cent increase in staff after experiencing a 30 per cent increase in turnover.

The Newcastle-based agency made five appointments to help deliver its specialist expertise to various businesses, both nationally and internationally, after experiencing a high demand for its online and offline services.

Roundhouse Digital was created as a subsidiary of The Roundhouse to spearhead the company’s new digital offerings. It is now said to be recognised globally for its specialist expertise within the higher education sector.

Michael Armstrong, director of Roundhouse Digital, said: “The North East is a hive of digital talent and I’m excited to be expanding the team with these key appointments to support Roundhouse Digital as we continue to experience a period of large growth.

“Our business is constantly changing and will continue to do so. We consistently deliver on our targets and have seen 20 per cent to 30 per cent year on year growth.

As the business continues to grow, Roundhouse Digital is looking to diversify its revenue streams with a number of products it is looking to take to market, as well as recently branching out into SEO, digital marketing and advertising.

Michael added: “In the past six years we have grown to deliver websites which serve specific business functions, a range of digital services, such as marketing, content creation, hosting and a 24/7 support network.”

Roundhouse Digital works with over 30 of the UK’s universities as well as North East-based clients including companies such as North, NRG and Hay & Kilner.
