Nortech Group signs new partnership deal with Darlington engineering firm
Tees Valley-based Nortech Group, an engineering service provider, has secured a new partnering agreement with Mech-Tool Engineering Ltd (MTE), to enhance its project-based engineering design offering.
The agreement is part of MTE’s Strategic Partner network programme, enabling the company to utilise a broad range of skills and competencies from within the engineering supply chain.
Based in the North East, MTE is a global supplier of solutions that protect people and equipment from fire, blast and radiant heat hazards in sectors including offshore and onshore oil and gas, nuclear and renewable energy.
It has multiple facilities offices in Darlington, Middlesbrough and Aberdeen, and international divisions in South Korea, Abu Dhabi, India, Malaysia and Texas.
Anthony Jones, MTE’s managing director, said: “We are pleased to confirm this new partnership with Nortech, which will help us strengthen and expand our design engineering capabilities.
“Our framework agreements enables MTE to maximise on the agile and experienced supply chain that exists in the UK… This will ensure the most efficient and effective project delivery that meets the high standards and requirements of our global customer base.”
Nortech Group has become one of the UK’s fastest growing engineering service providers. It delivers engineering design, consultancy, and staffing solutions to clients in the oil and gas, energy, chemical and petrochemical industries.
Headquartered at Wynyard, and with an office in Aberdeen, the group also has a presence in the Middle East through its joint venture company, Al Dhabi Nortech Engineering Consultancy LLC.
