Artisanal pizzeria to expand with Clapham restaurant
Artisanal pizzeria business Pi is coming to South West London.
The company, set up in Winchester over three years ago by restaurateur Rosie Whaley, will open a Clapham branch later this month.
The restaurant will be located on Battersea Rise, near Clapham Common, and have 85 covers along with a 25-seat bar area.
Founder Rosie worked in fashion design before a stint at a pizzeria in Florence inspired her to establish Pi.
She said: “It’s been three whirlwind years since we brought Pi to Winchester and I’m so excited to be opening a second site.
“Londoners have an insatiable passion for pizza and I hope we can bring a slice of something special to the table.”
