Leeds office complex West One welcomes trio of new businesses

West One, Bruntwood’s office building in Leeds city centre, has welcomed three new additions to its business community.

Gym operator Snap Fitness, global consulting firm Advisian and insurance service provider Charles Taylor have all recently taken up space in the building, which is located on Wellington Street.

They join a wide range of companies already residing at West One, ranging from small start-ups through to large multi-national brands including DLA Piper, Handelsbanken and Stickyeyes.

US-based fitness disruptor Snap Fitness now offers a 5,104 sq ft all-hours gym facility on the ground floor of the building, available to Bruntwood customers as well as local residents and workers.

Snap Fitness provides top-of the-range equipment and services, including Netflix while you train, built-in GHD hair straighteners and 24/7 virtual fitness classes.

Craig Burrow, Bruntwood’s director for Leeds, said: “Wellbeing has always been central to Bruntwood’s philosophy and we strive to ensure our buildings provide the facilities and spaces that support customer health and wellbeing.

“The new Snap Fitness gym at West One offers an ideal way for customers to exercise and monitor fitness levels in high-tech surroundings just a stone’s throw from their office.”

Also joining West One is global consulting firm Advisian, which has taken 1,184 sq, as well as insurance provider Charles Taylor, which has moved into a 753 sq ft workspace on the 6th floor.

In addition, Castlefield Recruitment has expanded from a 10-desk serviced office into a larger 943 sq ft leased office. National law firm, Freeths, has also expanded within the building taking on an additional 4,900 sq ft.

Craig added: “We understand the importance of creating spaces that meet businesses’ needs as they grow and West One offers customers the flexibility to do this”.
