Investment firm AJ Bell to create 200 jobs at Salford HQ
Investment company AJ Bell has unveiled plans to create 200 jobs at its Salford Quays HQ this year.
The recruitment drive, increasing the firm’s workforce in the North West to 700, will fill roles ranging from apprentice and graduate level to senior management.
The jobs will span several departments, including stockbroking, customer services and IT, with vacancies including administrative positions and specialist financial services and managerial roles.
The announcement comes on the back of continuing turnover growth and the move of AJ Bell’s stockbroking arm to Salford from Tunbridge Wells.
Andy Bell, chief executive, said: “Our business is growing very quickly and we are now one of the leading online investment platforms in the UK.
“To help support further growth, we are seeking ambitious and hard-working individuals to join the business across a number of departments.”
He continued: “We are pleased to be creating these new jobs in the north west, where there is a strong regional talent pool for us to tap into.
“All of the new roles will be based at our new HQ at Salford Quays, which offers a hi- tech working environment, a roof terrace for social events and an on-site gym for the exclusive use of our staff.”
AJ Bell provides over 164k customers in the UK with online pension, investment and stockbroking services.
