New website for Robert Gatward Jewellers
Robert Gatward Jewellers has launched its new website, built on Magento 2, which is the most up-to-date embodiment of Magento. Magento is one of the leading ecommerce platforms in the world — used by over 200,000 online stores, and Magento 2 launched in 2015.
While Magento have suggested they will continue to support Magento 1, this won’t involve expansion and over time won’t include support of some key areas, and so eventually all sites will need to migrate.
Other companies who currently use the Magento 2 platform include Nike, Ford, Coca-Cola, Olympus, Nestle Nespresso, and Proctor & Gamble.
Pioneering in the jewellery e-commerce sector, Robert Gatward Jewellers (robertgatwardjewllers.co.uk) is pushing ahead with its new website, which offers a much-improved user experience.
Speaking of the new website, Website & Digital Marketing Manager Tom Williams said:
“I am delighted that we have successfully moved to a new, secure platform that will help further evolve our brand and product range online. Since the new mobile-first site launched we have already seen an increase in traffic, which reflects the improved user experience.”
