Kirkgate Shopping sweetens Valentine's Day for customers
Kirkgate Shopping celebrated Valentine’s Day with “sweets for my sweet” over lunchtime.
The centre’s team of Cupids gave back to shoppers on Wednesday 14 February. Bags of sweets were handed out to make customers’ days that much brighter or to share with their loved ones in the spirit of romance and love.
Catherine Riley, Kirkgate Shopping centre manager, said: “We love to treat our customers and as Valentine’s Day is full of romantic gestures and sweet treats, we wanted to join in the fun. The team and I loved playing Cupid and customers of all ages enjoyed receiving the unexpected treats.
“It was amazing to spread the love across Bradford this Valentine’s Day and we’ll continue to feel it with two of our very own staff members getting married this year!”
Mirko Maric, customer service manager, said: “Handing out sweet treats to shoppers was a lot of fun. Brightening people’s day with a random act of kindness was something me and the team were more than happy to do.”
