Hotel and restaurant near Old Trafford changes hands
A hotel and restaurant in Trafford has sold off a guide price of £1.25m.
Chester’s Hotel and Luigi’s Restaurant, popular with Manchester United fans for its proximity to Old Trafford, was acquired by VK Developments.
The business includes a 24-bedroom hotel and newly refurbished restaurant, located three miles from Manchester city centre on Chester Road.
Commercial property agency GVA represented the sellers, John and Elaine Wilkinson. Agent Faisal Rafiq acted for VK Developments.
Martin Davis, director of the hotels and leisure team at GVA’s Manchester office, said: “I’m delighted to have completed on the sale of this popular and successful hotel and restaurant business on behalf of our client.
“We were pleased with the significant interest that we generated in the hotel which just goes to show that the market for well-located and realistically priced hotels is as strong as ever.”
He added: “This established hotel and restaurant provides a fantastic opportunity for the new owners to enhance and further develop trade.”
