CRL strengthens its board with appointment of new Non-Executive Director
Former NHBC Finance Director, Richard Tamayo, joins construction insurance specialist as Non-Executive Director.
Construction insurance specialist, CRL, is taking steps to bolster its Board of Directors with the appointment of independent Non-Executive Director, Richard Tamayo, who joins the board with immediate effect.
Tamayo brings over 20 years’ experience in the construction and insurance industries to his role at CRL, with a great reputation for leading and shaping corporate strategy. Prior to joining CRL, Tamayo held multiple Finance Director roles at a number of major companies, including the National House-Building Council (NHBC).

CRL is a construction insurance and warranty specialist, which arranges structural defects insurance to protect thousands of ambitious and innovative new ventures throughout the UK and Ireland. It arranges structural defects insurance for the end customer, both direct or via their preferred intermediary. CRL works across a varied and complex range of builds, from large scale developments to diverse projects including timber frame constructions, prefabricated properties, mixed-use projects, conversions and insolvent properties.
