Former Manchester café up for six figures at auction
A former café and takeaway in Manchester will go under the hammer later this month.
The property, located on Rochdale Road in Blackley, will have a guide price of £100k to £120k at auction next week.
In addition to the ground-level retail space, the premises include a flat on the first floor.
It is one of several commercial investments among the 54 lots in the sale, to be hosted by SDL Auctions North West.
Andy Thompson, senior valuer at SDL, said: “This is an excellent opportunity to acquire what was previously a popular and successful run café and takeaway premises, with a dining area and well-maintained kitchen.
“This is a well-presented, mixed-use property on a busy stretch of Rochdale Road, with plenty of passing trade.”
He added: “Both the retail premises and the self-contained, one bedroomed flat above benefit from gas central heating and uPVC double glazing.”
The former takeaway will be auctioned off at the AJ Bell Stadium in Manchester on February 28.
