Five new appointments set Reality HR up for a strong 2018

2018 looks set to be a very good year for Hampshire-based HR Consultancy, Reality HR, who have recruited five new members of staff, all from Basingstoke, to meet the demands of its ever growing client base.

Reality HR was founded in 2004 by Managing Director, Laura Davis, and has enjoyed steady growth over the years, currently employing 20 HR specialists and support staff who provide outsourced HR support to more than 100 SMEs in a variety of different sectors.

Just prior to Christmas, the award-winning HR Consultancy appointed Emily Gent as an HR Advisor. Emily brings 12 years’ experience as an HR generalist to the company with experience in the areas of recruitment, employee relations, change management, project management and organisational design and structure. In her new role she will support the HR Consultants and clients in a variety of project work and meetings.

Melanie Plotkin has been appointed as Marketing Executive bringing almost 30 years’ of B2B marketing experience with her. She is responsible for all aspects of marketing for Reality HR, ensuring that the brand is clear and that key messages are delivered through communications such as blogs, social media, PR and the company website, in addition to managing events for the company.

Reality HR has also appointed Philippa Charlton as Finance Controller following a career of almost 20 years in the industry as an Executive Assistant recruiting at MD/CEO level in London. Philippa will look after all aspects of the company’s finances.

Julie Smith has been appointed as PA/HR Administrator and brings over 30 years’ experience with her having worked at executive level providing PA support to HR Directors. In her new role, Julie will be supporting the Reality HR Directors and HR Consultants with their PA and administration needs. In addition, Julie also manages the company’s IT services, office facilities and supports both internal and external event organisation, which includes liaising with the company’s chosen charity.

Karolina Booth is the final appointment, taking on the role of Recruitment & Training Administrator. She has more than nine years’ recruitment experience and will be supporting the HR Consultants with managing client recruitment projects and will provide training support where required.

Laura Davis, Managing Director of the Hampshire-based HR Consultancy, said: “I am really excited by the prospects for 2018 now that we have an even stronger team in place. I am pleased to see that the wide range of clients we support and the flexible hour’s contract that we offer were attractive to our new recruits, enabling us to employ the highest quality new team members.”
