Works starts on 'flagship' £7.5m Travelodge project at Monks Cross
Work has now commenced on a new £7.5m, 80-bed Travelodge hotel at Monks Cross in York.
Max Reeves, development director at The Helmsley Group, commented: “This positive investment from a major hotel brand is another strong endorsement for the city of York.
This multi-million pound hotel project is expected to be completed in November 2018.
Max added: “We are delighted to be welcoming Travelodge, which will add to an extensive range of facilities now available for both residents and commercial occupiers at Monks Cross.
“This scheme, along with the major refurbishment of Arabesque House nearby, will create fresh employment for the area. We’re looking forward to seeing both projects come to life.”
The Helmsley Group provides its clients and potential investors with a range of property investment opportunities that are always secured against land or property.
