Middlesbrough's Animmersion celebrates successful launch of new tech software

A North East-based supplier of digital visualisation tools has received several orders following its successful launch of the world’s largest mixed reality display.

Located in Middlesbrough, Animmersion has created its DeepFrame product enabling viewers to experience visuals and animations as a ‘virtual layer on top of the real world’.

The product has been designed by Danish-based mixed reality specialist, RealFiction, of which Animmersion is its leading UK supplier.

Unveiled to 135 VIPs at the Crowne Plaza in Central London last month, DeepFrame has sparked a new level of interest in mixed reality technologies.

Dominic Lusardi, managing director at Animmersion, said: “We always expected this product would generate a huge amount of interest across a number of industries, but the results have far exceeded even our expectations.

“Following a very successful launch event, we are experiencing an huge amount of interest and requests for information on DeepFrame and Diamond which we really believe brings something completely unique to the digital visualisation market.”

Animmersion is now working with various enquiries on how best to deploy the technology and how the content can be best produced.

The launch of the DeepFrame product forms part of the company’s ambitious growth strategy to double turnover in the next two years and enter new markets.

Animmersion handles various high profile clients and has carved a reputation in the digital visualisation sector as the leader in its field.

As well as its plans to double turnover in the next two years, the company is also looking to bolster staff numbers as it aggressively targets its new sectors whilst continuing to grow its presence across current markets.

Established in 2006, Animmersion is said to be one of the country’s leading designers and suppliers of immersive technologies.
