Manchester AI company establishes top-floor base at Neo

An artificial intelligence company has moved into Manchester’s £8m Neo scheme.

Peak secured a 4,500 sq ft office on level 12, the building’s top floor, following a £3.5m investment.

The expansion, Peak said, marks the next stage of its scale-up plans.

The company worked with interior design firm The Sheila Bird Group to create a space that promotes flexible working while encouraging social interaction, productivity and collaboration between team members.

Richard Potter, CEO of Peak, said: “Thoughtful office design is vitally important to the success of any organisation. For us, it’s the physical embodiment of the values and culture that permeate through Peak.

“Being on the top floor of Neo is amazing. We’re surrounded by inspiring views of the city we were founded in and the huge amount of natural light gives us extra energy and helps maximise productivity.”

He continued: “The brilliant layout and design that Atul and the team at Sheila Bird have done for us creates a fluid, collaborative space that enables us to get the best from each other.

“Most importantly, it’s somewhere staff and customers want to come to, stay in and return to. We see our new HQ as somewhere that can help us attract and retain the best talent to join our team and great new clients alike.”

Neo is run by office space giant Bruntwood.

Bradley Topps, head of sales for Bruntwood in Manchester, commented: “Peak’s move into Neo is great news for the building and shows the appetite of fast growing, technology-based businesses to have a statement address in the heart of the city.

“Neo is now 98% full and we will be making other exciting new customer announcements soon.”

Property consultancy OBI Property advised Bruntwood on the deal.
