Coniq Strengthens Leadership Team as part of major expansion

Coniq, Europe’s leading provider of CRM and loyalty solutions for retail destinations, has announced a series of new appointments to its Senior Leadership Team, as part of its plans in 2018 to expand into key new global markets.

The new appointments bring huge experience to the team; all three join from global leaders in CRM and retail and bring high levels of expertise in the loyalty, Proptech and property sectors.

Helen Cahill has joined the team as Chief Success Officer - a new role which places client services at the heart of the organisation. Cahill’s career includes Director roles with organisations such as Nectar, Unilever and MasterCard. Her focus is to develop the team that supports Coniq’s growing client list across multiple territories.

Bruce Salamon has re-joined Coniq to become Chief Operating Officer, ensuring the operational success as multiple clients develop new service offerings using the Coniq platform. Salamon has worked previously with leading technology companies such as IBM and he will take responsibility for the product development roadmap.

Sean Curtis has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer and takes responsibility for the sales and marketing functions. The role will focus on recruiting a global sales team and developing the marketing strategy for the company as part of Coniq’s rapid growth into new markets. Curtis has held Marketing Director roles with companies such as Landsec and Marks & Spencer.

Ben Chesser, CEO Coniq, said “Coniq already enjoys great success with clients in 16 countries running Shopper Engagement programmes with over 16 million members. We now want to take that success into new markets and to offer a broader range of services to all our clients. Attracting and hiring top talent to the senior management team is key to ensuring continued success.”

“As a Proptech business that already provides loyalty and CRM services to many of Europe’s leading developers, retailers and mall owners, the new members of the leadership team will ensure that not only do we continue to deliver high levels of service to our customers, but that we are also well placed to enter new territories as we expand globally”.

The new appointments are part of a wider strategy based on the recent round of funding which saw Lepe Partners invest £2.3M joining Coniq’s founder, Ben Chesser, and the business’ first-round investors, including Venrex Investment Management and Samos Investments, in this closing.
