Leeds financial crime fighting platform to create 20 new jobs after tripling size of HQ
TruNarrative, the global provider of financial crime solutions, is tripling the size of its Leeds headquarters and plans to create over 20 new jobs.
Founded in 2016, TruNarrative aims to help businesses grow while protecting them against financial crime.
TruNarrative’s financial crime platform is underpinned by a decision engine, machine learning and application programming interface (API) management, bringing together electronic Know Your Customer (eKYC), ID verification and fraud detection.
The business’ new headquarters are located at the Grade-I listed Leeming Building on Vicar Lane in Leeds. More than 20 new jobs are set to be created as TruNarrative gears up for expansion following a tenfold increase in customer sign-ups.
The company has clients in sectors including banking, lending and online gambling, across Europe and Asia and has offices in Singapore, Hong Kong and New York. It has already expanded its global identity verification solution to cover 44 countries.
TruNarrative has already established partnerships with Cifas, CreditSafe, Comply Advantage, Equifax and HelloSoda, and features some 25 third-party apps in its App Store which can all be configured through the platform.
In 2017, TruNarrative formed a partnership with Credit Bureau Malaysia to further improve its approach to global fraud prevention and spearhead its expansion into Asia. The business plans to make a number of additional strategic partnership announcements in early 2018.
John Lord, CEO of TruNarrative, said: “We are seeing growing demand in the UK and further afield, especially across Asia and EMEA, from institutions looking to achieve compliance in an increasingly dynamic financial crime environment.
“By combining state-of-the art technology with expert fraud detection systems through a single source platform and bringing this together with machine learning and human insight, we are helping our clients make safe commerce simple.”
Ryan Morrison, director of sales and marketing at TruNarrative, added: “We’re incredibly proud of TruNarrative’s achievements to date and following last year, which surpassed all our expectations, we are naturally gearing up for further growth in the UK and our core markets of EMEA and Asia.
“Our move to larger offices in Leeds will help facilitate the next stage in our development and provide the perfect environment for our team of financial crime experts to enhance and develop our unique platform for our growing, global client list.”
