New director sends turnover through the Roofco

Sheffield-based rooftop safety systems specialist, Roofco, is aiming for new heights under the leadership of the most recent addition to its board of directors, William Martin.

Will’s promotion recognises his achievements since joining the firm in 2011 as a product engineer, most notably tripling product sales.

In January 2012, Will was granted full control of Roofco’s product portfolio and with the assistance of sales and technical associate, William Smith, he is rapidly increasing the firm’s market share and extending its reputation within the roofing industry. He also works alongside managing director, John Elmore, on consultancy and contracting projects.

Will said: “I am honoured to become a director of Roofco and have my efforts recognised in this way. We aim to continue to expand our capabilities through new product design and increased resources and I am excited to have this opportunity to help the firm fulfil its potential.”

Roofco was established in 1992 by experienced roofers, John Elmore, Jeremy Martin (Will’s father) and Gerald Brooks. The firm offers a range of products and services that improve the working environment on flat roofed buildings for construction and maintenance operatives.

John Elmore added: “Will’s ambition, vision and technical ability has propelled Roofco’s success for the last six years and we have no doubt that he is the right person to take the firm forward. He is a welcome addition to our management board and I have every faith that he has the best interests of the firm at heart.”
