Family motor business wins coveted national award
A FAMILY car dealer group which has gone the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction is celebrating after receiving a coveted award.
Sherwoods of Stockton was presented with the Vauxhall Customer Excellence Awards in recognition of its exemplary levels of customer experience following results from the 2017 British manufacturer’s satisfaction surveys.
The award, which is only given to the top five percent of the 350 Vauxhall dealers in the country, based on results of combined sales and aftersales, was presented by marketing director of Vauxhall Motors UK Simon Oldfield.
“The Vauxhall Customer Excellence Awards recognises our retailers for the quality of service they give,” said Mr Oldfield.
“The consistent hard work that has gone into Sherwoods all-round service, through team working, empowerment of staff and customer care is exemplarily and they thoroughly deserve this award.”
Simon MacConachie, the managing director of Sherwoods, which has branches in Darlington, Stockton and Northallerton, said: “This really is the pinnacle of all Vauxhall awards as it is so hard to achieve.
“It takes hard work and dedication to achieve such a top performance and is a real reflection of our team at Stockton, in both sales and aftersales, who have constantly delivered over the past 12 months.”
Sherwoods service manager Andy Wishart added: “We are absolutely thrilled to have received such a prestigious award.
“It really has been a whole team effort, from receptionists and technicians to service valeters, sales staff and management, everyone has played a part and it is great to be recognised.”
