Liverpool-based SysGroup in £950k tie-up with Home Bargains
Managed IT services and cloud hosting provider SysGroup PLC has signed a managed hosting services deal with T.J. Morris Limited, which trades as value retailer brand Home Bargains.
The agreement will be worth more than £950k and span three years, starting this month.
SysGroup said the contract is part of a strategy to focus on managed services that offer better earnings potential through long-term relationships.
Both SysGroup and Home Bargains are headquartered in Liverpool.
SysGroup chief exec Adam Binks said: “This is a significant win for SysGroup both in terms of the size of contract and external validation of the group’s capabilities by another household name.
“We look forward to securing future business in the retail sector.”
T.J. Morris Limited’s IT director, Frank Christiansen, commented: “We selected SysGroup as our new managed services provider due to its strength, understanding and ability to implement security measures that conform to the requirements of GDPR [General Data Protection Regulation], as well as its extensive, flexible and consultative-led approach to IT solutions.”
In its latest half-year results, SysGroup posted a revenue of £3.93m.
November last year saw the company make its sixth acquisition in three years.
