20 new jobs created as Walkabout launches Leeds city centre venue
Walkabout, the Australian themed bar chain, is set to open a brand new venue in Leed city centre on March 10th.
Located on Woodhouse Lane, the venue has created 20 new job following a £600k investment.
The new Walkabout features two bars, booths, large HD screens, a new sound system and tiered stadium seating for watching live sports and four pool tables.
The Walkabout food offering also offers a menu comprising burgers, parmis, BBQ platters and a wide range of other Australian favourites.
Drinks come in the form of a wide selection of craft beers, wines, and Aussie Twist cocktails in cans.
Adryan Martinelli, general manager, said: “We’re arriving in the city of Leeds and we can’t wait to show off our brand new bar.
“We’ve created an amazing space for people to enjoy, whether they want a quick bite, a chill with their mates, to watch the game or for a big night out!
“With such a range of offerings, all delivered in the true spirit of Australian socialising, we’re sure we won’t disappoint!”
