Family garage expansion gains traction

tyrZ has officially opened its second outlet in Congleton after a successful 2017.

The family-run tyre-fitting company began life in 2004 as a mobile service and soon established a base in Bollington. Brothers Andy and Chris Ritchie - who between them have over 50 years experience in the automotive industry - provide mobile and on-site tyre-fitting services to both private car and agricultural customers in East Cheshire.

Recent sustained growth in customer inquiries prompted the duo to look at how best to expand the business.

They decided to open a second site in Congleton, employing and training new staff to meet the increasing demand.

The new tyrZ, on Antrobus Street, is similar in size to its existing Bollington garage and will share the Ritchie family’s values of excellent customer service with a personal, friendly touch and an ‘honest way of doing business’.

Previously the site a garage for 30-years, the Congleton branch of tyrZ joins its Bollington site in being a Landsail UK authorised tyre dealer. Both branches will offer passenger car customers Landsail’s quality-led and reliable mid-range tyres. tyrZ Congleton is now open and will be offering a full range of tyres and fitments covering 4x4, car, van, winter and plant tyres along with wheel alignment and tracking services. Along with a choice of quality tyres they also offer expert wheel alignment using The Hunter Hawkeye system.
