FCP Audio Music Library For Final Cut Pro Users Plans Recruitment
The founders of the Tyneside based digital music library FCP Audio have confirmed they will roll out a North East based recruitment drive following higher than expected online sales.
Launched in November by North East music and video producers Ryan Davidson and Anthony Dow, FCP Audio is recognised as the world’s only online music library that offers customisable, authentic genre styles of music for people who are familiar with the professional film editing software Final Cut Pro X.
With over 10,000 sales so far, the team has said it needs to recruit ahead of schedule having confirmed the full-time appointment of new Marketing Manager Rebecca Currie, who joins the organisation from the Tyneside marketing agency, JAC MEDIA.
Reacting to the company’s rapid global rise in popularity and its new appointment, Co-founder Anthony Dow, said: “Since our launch, we have blown all of our targets out of the water and our product is being used in over 90 countries.
“We’re delighted to be in the position to recruit great people from right here in the North East earlier than expected. We feel that Rebecca will help us to realise our marketing ambitions throughout the UK.”
Co-Founder Ryan Davidson, continues: “We want to build on our early success and re-invest initial earnings by employing a number of producers and audio engineers from the local region.
“We want to help the North East retain its recognisable, digital talent. Our plan is to work towards producing a wider range of content to reach new audiences across the globe.”
FCP Audio has said its mission throughout 2018 is to provide all Final Cut Pro X users access to affordable, customisable, Royalty Free Audio.
The product is streamlined to work for amateur and pro alike, offering authentic genre styles which seem paralleled by no other current platform.
The company believes its easy to navigate, user-friendly system is one of the reasons why it has reached so many people so quickly.
Rebecca Currie, FCP Audio’s new Marketing Manager, adds: “I’ve joined FCP Audio at an extremely curtal time in their development and I’m looking forward to putting my love and knowledge of the region’s creative and tech scene to good use.
“The guys are experts at creating amazing content and music for the world’s videographers and have some incredible technology in place. It’s my job to help them realise their ambitions and connect with a much wider audience. It’s great to be on board with this project at such an exciting time in their business growth.”
